Denmark hails from Taytay, Rizal and has now found a new home in Malolos City, Bulacan.
He first got into digital photography back in January 2008. He started as a sports photographer, being a sports fanatic. The first sports events he covered were Baseball Philippines Season I, Boxing At The Bay and World Cup of Pool.
Denmark then actively joined the Digital Photographer Philippines (DPP) Forum where he met a lot of pros, semi-pros and also his best friends in the photography community. He keeps a strong bond with a group of photography enthusiasts called the Renegades, masters of impromptu and night shoots. He and two other friends also established Lakbay Litratista (LATA), a photography and travel group which has led numerous outdoor shoots in Mt. Pinatubo, Laguna, Lucban and Anawangin. It is likewise with DPP that he got to join the On Assignment 4.0 Team sponsored by MTV Philippines and Caltex.
He was instrumental in forming a photography group at his workplace in Dell International Services Philippines. Aside from the usual photo-ops during office events, Denmark also led a team of office photographers who covered one of the biggest events of the year, Dell’s annual Christmas Party.
Denmark has also covered a sundry of weddings (including prenuptial shoots), birthdays and corporate events. He has done portraitures for a handful of models.
His most recent stint is being the Philippine-based photographer for Top Rank Promotions which handles Manny Pacquiao’s fights. He covered the 4-day Pacquiao-Marquez World Press Tour-Manila Leg in September 2011, as well as a day in Pacquiao’s training in Baguio City.
Drawing inspiration and influence from his friends and the pros, he aims to be a full time pro photographer in the years to come. He is also setting up his own studio in Paseo del Congreso, Malolos, Bulacan (near the famed Barasoain Church) which will be operational by early 2012.
